It is a protective anti-stain water repellent right for marble, granite, terracotta, concrete and stone. DRAI prevents water to penetrate into the marbles avoiding the formation of algae and moulds, it also protects against pollutants and chemical agents, helps prevent dirt from depositing and prevents the treated surfaces from deteriorating. Drai can be applied on floors, tables, worktops, bathroom and kitchen tops and coverings on which it prevents the absorption of liquids such as water, oil, coffee, wine. It does not form a film, it penetrates deeply into any type of stone and lithoid material. It does not turn yellow and does not alter the color of the treated material, allowing it to breathe.

Drai is a water and oil repellent protective agent for natural stone and other substrates. A protective barrier against water infiltrations, humidity, dirt and pollution, stains and splashes, mould, moss, algae and fungi.
Thanks to the technology of this product, it has a high performance penetration power through the capillary pores: various tests have highlighted penetrations of up to 4 – 5 mm inside the treated materials. The application of Drai is also suitable on substrates of different nature, such as: cement, cocciopesto mortars, tuff, carparo, various marbles (carrara, bardiglio fiorito, verona red, siena yellow, granite, travertine, etc.), paints and lime-based coatings, marmorino with high-performance results.
- Solvent-based Drai is breathable (permeability to vapour);
- Drai is completely colorless and invisible, it leaves the appearance of the treated surface unchanged;
- Drai is stable and does not alter on exposure to UV rays;
- Drai dries quickly and can also be applied to slightly damp surfaces;
- The yield depends on the absorption of the substrate to be treated: indicatively consumption varies between 100 and 400 gr/m2.

It is always advisable to do a small preliminary test on a hidden area.
APPLICATION
Keep the packages tightly closed and in a cool (temperature below 25°C) and ventilated place for a maximum of 12 months starting
from the production date shown on the can. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
Before application, it is recommended to clean the surfaces by removing soluble salts, molds or crumbly parts. The application must be made on surfaces that are dry, cold and not exposed to strong sunlight; low pressure airless spray guns, brushes or rollers may be used: in any case care must be taken to ensure that the application is uniform until the substrate is completely impregnated.
The optimum amount will need to be determined by doing a preliminary test on a small area. The yield depends on the absorption of the substrate to be treated: as an indication, consumption ranging between 100 and 400 g/m2 can be assumed.
During the application, especially under the mechanical action of the brush or roller, important foams are formed; this phenomenon, which disappears completely during the drying phase, is not detrimental to the final result, but rather is synonymous with better pene- tration into the stone.

WATER BASED VERSION
Water-based waterproofing product, ideal for treating marble, granite and natural stone. In its formulation, the fluorinated resin gives a very high resistance to atmospheric agents, pollutants and UV radiation. Water-based Drai has been studied in our chemical laboratories to protect the surfaces to be treated especially for external ones. This product is a water and oil repellent protective.
Water-based Drai does not yellow in any environmental condition and has high penetration capacity; it has a high yield, with one liter of product you can cover an area of 15 square meters (depending on the absorption of the stone on which it is applied).
Drai water-based is an ideal protective to be applied inside the shower or in places where there is stagnation of water; being an impregnating agent, it does not change the appearance of the material and does not yellow over time; furthermore, by not creating a surface film, it does not alter the breathability of the surface; these qualities are essential to allow the surface to be preserved over time.
