Particular attention is paid to the Investments, Development and Research Projects area. Our research has made us specialists in formulations suitable for achieving eco-efficiency, in line with European and global directives, for environmental protection, worker safety and customer health.
Ilpa Adesivi has favored internal optimization processes in the name of eco-compatibility: containment of the use of natural resources, improvement of packaging, reduction of wasting, new rules of transport using methane and use of electric powered forklifts. The ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications are the results of our commitment to quality and environmental management systems. The management systems determine a incentive for innovation through the activation of new investments.
Ilpa Adesivi is committed to deal with global challenges: the decrease in resources, the increase in mobility, climate changes.
Collecting and solving challenges is the heart of our know-how. We devote our energies to the development of technologies and new chemical products that limit the environmental impact. Linea Blu is born, a line of products recognized internationally and winner of the Inovo Eco Awards as the best eco-sustainable product. A line of products without styrene, odorless and with a strong adhesive power.
Sustainability means giving a future to our planet, to the generations to come: a world that knows how to create beauty.
GoGreen is DHL’s program aimed in reducing the impact of its activities on the environment and contributing to the protection of the ecosystem. GoGreen is an integral part of our “Living Responsibility” sustainability strategy. Offsetting carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions is one of our ways of protecting the environment and providing sustainable value for society and the community.
In fact, our transport activity is directly correlated with the production of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases *, which are among the main factors affecting climate change. Why offset carbon emissions? 2010, along with 1998 and 2005, was classified as one of the hottest years ever recorded in history, confirming the forecasts of progressive global warming.
The increase in greenhouse gas emissions is considered the primary cause of this global warming. In 2008, DHL was the first logistics company in the world to set itself a goal in terms of environmental protection: to improve the efficiency index linked to carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions at an international level by 30% by 2020. The calculation of CO2 emissions is carried out according to the GHG (Greenhouse Gas Corporate Standard) protocol.
