EPOKITT — Epoxy High Tenacity Resin for Repairs and Reinforcements

Deep Penetration and Excellent Adhesion

EPOKITT is a high-quality epoxy resin, available in liquid or solid form, resulting from the reaction between epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A, modified with a bifunctional reactive diluent. Its low viscosity ensures perfect penetration into cracks and thin microcracks, while the low surface tension ensures excellent wettability, adhesion and easy workability.

Flexibility and Superior Resistance

The reactive diluent formulation increases pot life and improves impact and acid resistance, limiting the action of solvents. EPOKITT also presents:

• High filler power
• Reduced odor and lower vapor pressure
• Improved operational safety
• Low tendency to crystallize (keep ≥25 °C)

EPOKITT is ideal for civil engineering interventions and specialist work:

• High filler load pavements
• Concrete fillings and reinforcement
• Structural adhesives and high solid paints
• Injections into cracks and consolidation of marble slabs

Welding with fibreglass mesh on the back of slabs

It can enhance the aesthetic effect of some granites with a pleasant “wet effect” and, thanks to its transparency, it can be colored with metal oxides or epoxy coloring pastes according to the project’s needs.

Mode of Use

The catalysis ratio to the dedicated hardener is 2:1. Apply to clean, dry surfaces, ensuring complete penetration into cracks or microfractures.
