Its high adhesive capacity makes it versatile for working and gluing granite, synthetic marble and porcelain stoneware.
One of the distinctive features of URANIUM is its quick setting. It polymerizes and hardens very quickly when it comes into contact with traces of moisture in the environment or on the surface to be bonded. Typically, it only takes a few seconds to secure the parts together. Creates a strong, durable bond between glued surfaces. Once harde- ned, it forms a virtually unbreakable bond, rest assured that the stren- gth of the bond depends on the materials to be bonded and proper surface preparation. Additionally, its clarity after curing makes it ideal for applications where visibility of bonded surfaces is important or desired.
To obtain a very light color after hardening, it is recommended NOT TO USE a quantity of catalyst in paste greater than 1%.
Keep the container well closed and stored in a cool (temperature below 25°C) and ventilated environment for a maximum period of 6 months from the date of production marked on the tin. Avoid direct sun exposure.
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are perfectly dry and clean; preferably, sand the two parts to be bonded.
Take the amount to be used from the jar with clean tools. It is possible to colour URANIUM by adding a colouring paste, up to a maximum of 3%: mix the colouring paste with URANIUM and achieving the desired colour.
Adding 1 or maximum 2 grams of paste hardener for every 100 grams of product, to avoid the browning effect. Mix this quantity well, amalgamating the two components.
Apply URANIUM on the surface to be bonded or filled, keeping in mind that the putty hardens completely
after about thirty minutes; hardening times will be shortened at temperatures above 25°C and lengthened at temperatures below.
Do not put hardened and unused putty back into the jar to avoid deterioration of the entire contents. Close the jar after use to prevent the product from hardening upon contact with air.
